I just recently purchased the new lego minecraft mine set and a thought hit me. Why dont I make lego minecraft alagaesia? I am probably never going to get it done but its a FRANCHISING idea. Wow. Franchises for franchises of franchises. OMG
Plzz dont diss lego in the comments, its just a hobby of mine (if you count like, one set every two years)

Nope, lego is great! And I'm glad you said "Lego" and not "Legos"!

I <3 LEGOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Lego MCA would be a little...um...difficult. .-. if you were to build it on the scale of a lego person, all of alagaesia would end up being around 8.3 by 10.4 miles. Most of this would just be tan bricks for the hadarac, but still. Even a small town would be a few meters in each direction. I guess you could fudge the sizes a little and make a little carvahall that has a couple buildings, but that wouldn't be as cool as a miles long accurate model of alagaesia. I just realized how this puts MCA into real perspective, like even on lego scale alagaesia is huge. We're trying to build the equivalent of twice the size of the UK. Dang. xD And yes my calculations are mathmatically accurate and based off of size estimates from Inheriwiki as well as a human height estimate (6ft) and the height of a lego figure (4cm). And don't diss lego. Lego is the creativity outlet of thousands upon thousands of humans, both children and adults. Legos are amazing. It's like the physical predecessor of minecraft. I mean literally it is little bricks (blocks) you put together, exactly like minecraft, just physical instead of virtual. I hope all minecrafters realize this...

Especially if it was in Minecraft and had tons of awesome plugins.

You can't use them interchangeably but each does have a meaning. You wouldn't say "I built it with a bunch of lego" you would say "I built it with a bunch of Lego bricks" or "I built it with a bunch of Legos." if it appeases you I'll start saying "Lego bricks" instead of "legos" but it's a lot more typing... ...and, it is pet peeves. Not pet hates.. Js.

Although this was on the lego website at one point: When you say you played with legos as a child, it sounds to me like you're saying "I drank a glass of waters" or "my sandpit has a lot of sands".

It's just like how Google didn't want their name to become a verb synonymous with "search on the internet" and yet it happened which just shows how popular it is and how little control any one group has over the development of language. Lego didn't want people saying Legos to describe their bricks, but it was convenient and stuck so instead of kids saying "I built a castle out of Lego bricks/toys! " they say "I built a castle out of Legos! " but yes technically that's what lego wants.

Red, The grammar for lego is like deer. its both the plural and the noun. so you say both "hey, i love lego" and "hey, look at the ccol castle i built out of my lego!"

You wouldn't say "I play with marvel" if you play with marvel action figures.

Red, The grammar for lego is like deer. its both the plural and the noun. so you say both "hey, i love lego" and "hey, look at the ccol castle i built out of my lego!" That's definitely not correct. Lego is the brand. You can't pluralize a brand. You can however pluralize a product, like "Lego bricks" or "lego toys." yeah, if you are being technical you don't say legos (even though that's just short for lego bricks) but you definitely don't say you built it out of your lego either. Unless you only used one lego brick.

You are not sticking with one thesis here.
