That's great! Could you maybe make a video of it to demonstrate how it works?? you guys do amazing things. Sure, we'll get one out ASAP! Yay! I love how with this server the staff is so involved and listens to its users. Advantages of a small community.

Wow! Looks like it works really well. Thanks for the video, it looks like it took a while to run in circles enough to get the ground to start changing! Also, the grass block went from grass to dirt to coarse dirt, right? I couldn't really tell between the normal and coarse dirt, so I was just wanting to make sure. Also, do the trails start to revert after time left untouched? Otherwise looks awesome!!

At the moment, the trails will not revert over time, but that will be implemented soon.

Seems kinda too static unless you implement a plugin to VERY SLOWLY grow stuff back like trees getting bigger and grass growing etc.

Also, on that topic, I'm going to make a thread for that because we should make a list of the effects of each season change to see if it is possible. But back on track, I really was just trying to say trail reversion should be added. If you use a hashmap to record every time a player steps on a block, just have every few hundred tick deduct a step from all blocks, and over time a trail would slowly reverse.

Well, you said we should have trees grow slowly over time. Instead of a plugin to do this, trees could simply be different sizes depending on the season of the map that is in use. On the topic of Trail Regeneration, yes, that's the plan. However the HashMaps will have to be saved to a config and then reloaded on server restart (ugh).

Wow, my idea was actually implemented! :Dnow i feel bad for not being on for ages (school) if we store different sized trees for the seasons, when the seasons cycle around wont they get small again?seems kind of wierd

And school is limiting my MCA time too... (ugh) if we wanted trees to get grow... we could have like an 8 stage cycle where the trees grow up, drop saplings, die, and the the saplings grow up. About school.. i cant believe we are still using freaking windows XP when the primary school down the road just bought about a million ipads.

Wouldn't that increase the density of forests as time went on? And bumping this to big bang theory.
