I'd definitely be open to helping the dev team on some plugins! I'm going on vacation this week so while I'm away from home I'll look at Bukkit plugin coding. Don't expect anything until mid-January though, I have some non-minecraft projects that need finishing up first. I'd like to think I'll be the one but minecraftthings and azza005 kinda have it covered... If you haven't learnt much about Java, I'd recommend Bukkit for Beginners by Applejuze. He teaches basic Java through Bukkit, so you're really hitting 2 birds with one stone. There's no prior knowledge required. www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwXzeQT80wzEwvKrlrOi3xfr5RpuPtsh-This is great! ill definitly have a look, and maybe one day ill be able to help do even one line of code! YAY!

Usually once I get the syntax down and find some reference docs, I'm good That said, this will be both my first object oriented language and my first C based language so... It'll be interesting xD In the meanwhile I'm just gonna write out some pseudocode for things here and there.

Both plugins and mods are written in java. Yeah, minecraft itself runs in a Java environment, so it makes sense that mods for it are also in Java
