You can find the pictures here: imgur.com/a/ctVGY and the schematic here: www.dropbox.com/s/lw56mz59a4udcb5/Ellesmera.schematic?dl=0I tried to base the house on the picture of Ellesmera on the Shurtugal site, while still keeping it organic. The end result wasn't quite what I imagined, but looks alright. I'm not completely happy with the interior, while the outside I quite like. I'd be happy to hear what you think!

Looks very nice! It's pretty similar to what we envisaged for the elvish theme. We like the blocks used as well as the detail, and while inside it is a bit cluttered, we think the interior looks very good.
Are you thinking of submitting anything else? You show great promise as a member of the build team!

I'll submit something for sure. Not quite sure what yet. Any ideas on what I should build/submit?

Tips? There's not much to say: 1)keep it organic 2) try to make it look like the house is part of the tree 3)randomize! 4)add leaves, lots of leaves! 5) Try to add texture, for example: don't use only normal grass, add bare dirt in to the mix; when making the trunk of the tree add some fences curving around it 6)remember that the elves changed nature do they're liking: don't only make the house part of the tree, make the tree part of the house. Other then that I think you'll be fine. Good building!

Wow, looks very organic and fresh, and the blocks work well together! Can't wait to see your next project!

This is actually a very nice build I like how you made it look particularly irregular and organic, although it seemed strikingly large to me; could you try building something like this to possibly fit within 15x15?

The canopy of my tree on the build server stretches out all the way to the edges of the plot. Why would you need to anyways? Ellesmera is going to be quite large. This house is the perfect size for elvish cities in Du Weldenvarden.

If an elf was unskilled in a particular area of magic, friends and family provided what they couldn't.

Having some driver issues Yeah, the elves seem to have gotten it just right with their society... In my reading class this year, for this one question we had to describe our idea of a "perfect" community (to demonstrate the point that nothing can be completely perfect) and I said the Elven community in the Inheritance Cycle and explained it. My teacher: nothing to say. Mission accomplished. Elves, you rock! What's the problem? Is it an incompatibility issue? Anyways I haven't gotten on either in a while... haven't really had time. I'll be on tomorrow though.

I'll be on tomorrow though. Well you see, Windows 8.1 sucks. I was going to go with Linux or windows 7, but you get a free copy of windows 10 when it comes out if you get windows 8.1 so I got it. And from there goes downhill fast. It started with me having screen issues (The screen would temporarily go black and then come back up) and then it went on to completely freezing the computer until I restarted it (holding down the power button for four seconds). I reloaded the OS and started to have the same problem again when installing the drivers, pulled up task manager and whatdoyaknow the Hard Drive is clocking at at 100% usage (not good at all). Completely reinstalled the OS again and went through some of the Local Services and disabled them (BITS, SuperFetch, and Windows Search) and it seems to have fixed the problem. So I should be good now. If you have that problem on your computer try that and it only seems to be a windows 8.1 thing.

Yeah, Windows 8.1 is really intensive...on everything.... but it may have just been because it was the first boot up and it was formatting the disk. Just out of curiosity now that you have it working, reenable the services you disabled one at a time and see if the hard drive usage goes all the way back up again. You're fine without those three but I'm not sure if you disabled any others that certain system processes require. But if you can reenable them one at a time and let them run for a bit, the hard drive usage may go back down. I dunno, Windows 8.1 is funky! P.S. Linux rocks, especially for games that can run on it because it is so lightweight that it frees up a whole lot more CPU and hard drive usage!! Plus it's free, and who doesn't like free.
