I was wondering about a PE server that would be cool for people who only have minecraft on their mobile devices. I would also like a preview of the map otherthan videos.

They have the hand-crafted map by Paolini with city sites marked (as well as their progress to completion) but no block map yet because they are still working on adding the landscape for MCA 2.0 and then they have to import all the current builds from the original MCA map. It is a lot of work, so it will take a while. Also, I kind of doubt that the intersection between Inheritance and minecraft fans is very large (not much more than a few million) and of those, the ones who would actually join this project and help is even more limited! That said, even though we only have a couple dozen members on this forum there is quite a large following. We have around 60 diamond on PMC!

When we're looking to expand the network, we'll be sure to consider adding a Pocket Edition server. However at the moment, we want to get the PC version up and running. There's a lot of work and planning that will have to go into the PE map and development.

Would it be possible to have the maps sync so that as a player on PE builds something it would then also be ported to the same spot on the PC map? I doubt it is possible, due to the major differences in gameplay and software. There would also be the difficulty of rewriting the plugins to be compatible (if that's even possible, knowing Apple) and putting in dragons somehow. Unless you are just talking about a build server, at which point CAN IT BE SYNCED TO THE BUILD SERVER ON PC SO I CAN WORK ON IT EVEN ON THE ROAD?? K thanks.

Playing a PC map on Minecraft PE 0.9.0 and above is currently impossible. The level format was completely changed in 0.9.0 and is incompatible with Minecraft PC. Even in PE versions 0.2.0 to 0.8.1, when the level format is more or less the same, many blocks and items did not exist in PE. Also, you just brought up something that we hadn't thought about. We can't have MCAlagaesia without dragons!

We can't have MCAlagaesia without dragons! That's why I was so skeptical but you could probably implement a build server and just find a program to convert PE minecraft files into Anvil file format. That way, we can build our creations on the go for MCA!

Soooooo plugins are pretty easy to set up for MCPE, but you would need to rewrite pretty much all of the original code that was written for MCAlagaesia. However, Bukkit Essentials has already been rewritten as a PocketMine plugin, so still the possibility of a build server. You can pretty easily convert MCPE level schematics to PC by just exporting them in MCEdit, so it is definitely possible. But they would have to be separate, like a build server for PC and a build server for PE but maybe every day an admin just goes in and ports all the new plots/edited plots to the corresponding one on the PC world so that you can go from one to the other. Or the dev team could write a program that does this every few minutes, but I'm not sure how one would go about automating MCPE to PC schematics if it can only be done with MCEdit (but there are probably other programs that I didn't find in my five-minute exploration on Google). In case you haven't heard of it yet, PocketMine is this program that allows you to host MCPE worlds from a computer or server (pretty much the minecraft_server.jar of Pocket Edition) and has an included plugin API. Here are all the plugins that are already written for PocketMine.
