hi guys, i was thinking that for the roleplay server we should have a pretty deeply embedded roleplaying system for things like building, combat and trading. otherwise things are going to get completely hectic with player building massive redstone ice machines and such. i think that we should use a similar system to D&D used in Gildorym, a very popular Minecraft fantasy roleplaying server. it uses a system based on dungeons and dragons with races, classes, abilities, and LOTS of other in depth things like trading and farming. they only used plugins. this system would be kinda hardcore but it would emphasize that we aren't playing vanilla minecraft where anyone can blow up a village and no one cares. please tell me what you think of this. to find gildorym search it in google. lubenqwe brightscales

As I said in another thread, there should definitely be at least races, and it would be very cool to get really into it with jobs, trading, PvP conflict, plot twists (AHH THE RAZAC ARE COMING), system of laws, etc. It would also be cool if you got a new storyline each time you died, so that if you die the players you may have been with would have to deal and somewhere else a newcomer arrives! But you would still be able to choose your race each time. Reference "added character races" thread for more on this topic.
