Hello person_55 here, and I have encountered a problem with one of my builds.
On my most recent build, a large Agricultural Manor house supposed to be on the outside of Aroughs, I experience serious lag while flying around it and building. If someone could check it out and give me an assessment of how to reduce the lag it creates without altering large portions of the build, that would be amazing. The plot ID is 7:-8. I was getting the lag before I furnished the inside, so it isn't anything in the rooms. The only thing I can think of is the stained glass, but im not sure. If anyone can confirm/deny any of this please do. Thank you for the help in advance!

I can confirm that the stained glass panes are causing the lag. Using WorldEdit, I set all the stained glass panes in your build to stone, which stopped the lag. I then set them to glass panes (no colour), which was fine too.
Looks like it's a problem with stained glass panes, which unfortunately is an issue that only Mojang, or perhaps Spigot can fix. I've left the panes in your build as the default glass panes, please tell me if you want me to change it back to the stained type.

Alright, thank you. Ill leave them as the regular glass panes, but I just wish that stained glass wouldn't cause the lag, they looked so good.

It's very unfortunate! I hope they get the issue fixed soon.

Yep, and it is no minor feat! The engine has to check what is behind the glass, take that hue, modify it depending on the stained glass being looked through, and draw that new shade. And it does this for every single point you see through stained glass... Talk about intensive. They may put out a small update to eventually work that out a little better, but there isn't an obvious way to improve that... Light handling and tinting is a huge chunk of the CPU usage when it comes to minecraft.
