*Right clicks*
*Joins mind battle, if existing*We're already using right click for that. couldnt it test if a player is in a mind battle and if they weren't it shows the hud? With ease, however how would you check the statistics of a player who is in a mind battle? And what if you go around right clicking everyone to see their stats and suddenly BAM, you're fighting for someone you don't know?

How about this... When a mind battle has been initiated and the two participating players are teleported to the "mind" room, the players are frozen in place for 10 seconds. During this time, they are prompted to type either "/allow" to allow all players to help them or "/deny" to prevent all players from right clicking and joining their team. After this command, players could issue another to allow more or less players to join, such as "/deny elves" or "/allow playername". Example usage... Mind Battle Initiated10 Second Delay/deny No players can join the player's team/allow humans Nobody but a human can join the player's team/allow John Player John can also help, even if he is not a humanMind Battle BeginsIt should be noted that "/allow" doesn't force a player to help you, it just allows them to. They still have to right click you to join in.

That could work, giving you basic info on the player to simulate talking with that player or something. It should also include their profession if we make that a thing. Guhhh i meant to put that on there oh well, any way maybe with the MCA supplement mod we could make this like holographic displays? it would stay there for a bit above their head then go away. Or if you hover the pointer over a player it pops up above their head with the basic information.

Select block key could be used for player info, and I like the mind battle commencement idea! you mean the middle mouse button, right? Yeah that's it's default. But in development like this it is usually best to refer to them by what they do in game rather than the key you use or the default key for that action because not everyone uses that and this can lead to confusion. For instance, I use left shift for attack/destroy block, but a lot of players use left mouse button (the default) or other keys for attack. So if I were to say "left shift should make dragons release fire!" a lot of people wouldn't understand me...

Just pointing out that's not even on the same side of the keyboard as WASD... Yeah that's it's default. Maybe it first gives you two links: allow and deny. If you click on allow, every player is automatically denied except those who you allow. If you hit deny then everyone is allowed automatically unless you deny them. And if you specify a group, it would ask for exceptions to the group that would be allowed/denied depending on what the whole group is specified as. Examples: Say you want to deny everyone except for Orik and Arya. You would click allow, then type Arya *enter* Orik *enter* and then maybe click a link that says done or something... You want to allow all elves and dwarves, but no humans except for Murtagh. You click deny, then type humans *enter* (although maybe we could provide links for groups this links and then when it asks Exceptions? You say Murtagh *enter*

No, the whole point of teaming up in a mind battle is that you overpower the enemy... If you needed to take down this superstrong magician, you could just join minds with like a hundred people and overwhelm said magician! But yeah it was kind of confusing, my explanation... ok how bout this: You start a mind battle. The server asks you "Who do you want to allow to join?" You can specify individual player (separating by commas), a group of players based on some attribute such as race, or everyone. If you say a group or everyone, it asks you "Exceptions?" and you can specify single players or groups to deny out of the larger group that is allowed, separating them by commas. If none then type none. This then repeats until the 10 seconds runs out or you say "none". You want to only allow Orik and Arya: Who do you want to allow to join? Orik, Arya Others? None You want to allow all elves: Who do you want to allow to join? Elves Exceptions? None Others? None You want to allow all dwarves except those of Az Sweldn rak Anhuin: Who do you want to allow to join? Dwarves Exceptions? Az Sweldn rak Anhuin Others? None You want to allow humans from Carvahall, all riders except Galbatorix, and a few of your dwarf friends: Who do you want to allow to join? Carvahall Exceptions? None Others? Riders Exceptions? None Others? Dwarf1, Dwarf2, Dwarf3 Ok, maybe we need to lengthen it just a bit to like 15 seconds. Also, maybe there can be the ability to add or remove more players in the middle of it, but at the risk of being killed, by just typing in what you would type if it asked "Who do you want to allow to join?" into the chat box. I think this makes a lot more sense than my previous idea.

I like this Idea a lot, but what will happen to the peoples bodies? there needs to be something that stands in the place they were at, such as a zombie, and if it dies it kills them in the mind battle. Also will the people who join into the battle be allowed to leave? I know that the person who initiates it cant, but I always kinda thought of the others as just helping out, that way they could leave if things went south fast.
